Written Policy Development:
Patriot Testing works in conjunction with company management in writing a drug and alcohol policy. This policy shall address issues involving the use and misuse of drugs and alcohol and the consequences of violating the policy. This policy shall also serve as a legal document enforcing employee cooperation with the your company's drug and alcohol testing program. Each employee shall be given a copy of this policy and sign a written acknowledgement of receipt.
On-Site Collections:
Stop wasting valuable time sending your employees to medical facilities only to wait in line! We offer on-site urine collections which allows the employee to continue to productively work, and only leave their job when we are on-site. The collection usually takes no more than 10-15 minutes. We test for drugs by administering a urine specimen collection, seal the specimen using tamper proof kits, and then air express the specimen to a Patriot Testing Services laboratory. The notification of test results by a Patriot Testing Services Medical Review Officer is usually available within 24 to 36 hours. All testing and specimen collections meet the Federal Drug Free Workplace Safety Act requirements and Federal Department of Transportation 49 CFR Parts 382 and 40.
Test Results Reporting:
Patriot Testing Services reports drug and alcohol test results quickly and efficiently. Results can be obtained usually within 24 to 36 hours online, and/or via email, fax, phone. Our test result reports can be printed immediately for your records.
Recordkeeping Services:
Proper recordkeeping is vital to your testing program and Patriot Testing Services surpasses all other program providers. A Patriot Testing Service representative will personally set up the system at your company and monitor it as your testing program progresses. Other providers, such as medical facilities, cannot and do not offer this valuable free service as part of their program. Many of the fines and penalties levied by the DOT are the result of poor recordkeeping.
Employee Trainings:
Patriot Testing Services can provide professional instructional seminars that meet and exceed your requirements for training. A Patriot Testing Service representative will spend approximately two hours discussing with employees the ill effects of illicit drugs, prescription medications, over the counter medications, alcohol consumption and what can get an employee in trouble. The instructor will also discuss in detail the Company’s specific policy on drugs and alcohol, and the actual process they will encounter when testing. We also provide additional employee instructional meetings as your safety program progresses.
Supervisor Trainings:
Patriot Testing Services can conduct a supervisor training seminar in recognizing “unfit behavior”. Our most popular, this seminar is geared towards understanding the effects of controlled substances and alcohol and what to do when confronting an employee about an “unfit” condition or an issue regarding work performance.
Counseling and Rehabilitation:
Patriot Testing Services will assist company management in establishing a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) network for employees in need of rehabilitative and counseling services.

DOT Audits:
The majority of program providers do not have DOT certified personnel on their staff to assist you if your company is ever selected for an official audit. Those who do, will assist you only if you are willing to pay their hourly fees, travel and lodging expenses.
